About Papish

"Papish" is an anthology of interconnected musical short films centered around a central theme: biting and satirical narratives that critically explore aspects of the absurd modern society we live in. In each episode, the music and lyrics, specially crafted by the Latin pop band PAPISH, engage in a unique dialogue with the plot, enriching the experience with an intimate connection between the story and the music. These episodes come to life as part of the stage design during the band's live performances, thereby creating a distinct immersive experience for the audience.

Gerva Canda - Author

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and I currently live in Montreal. I studied architecture and worked in animation and videogames for many companies. My first awakenings towards the visual arts from an early age took me through varied paths and experiences that trained me in several disciplines, all related to design. I’m always proactive in creating new worlds and solving aesthetics out of the ordinary, as well as ambitious to participate in innovative and challenging projects: I bring to the table a different way of thinking, emphasizing this unique gaze that Ojo Raro proposes.
